In view of the goal of the developing plan of the United Nations, International E-business Master Union (hereinafter referred to as IEBMU) is established in June 2001 by the E-business staff of 36 countries including Canada, America, Italy (European Union), Argentine, Brazilian, Hong Kong SAR and Australia, etc. The purpose of IEBMU is: enhancing the efficiency of international trading, promoting the electronical development of international business, and pushing the development of technology, economy, trade and information of the global trading by utilizing the information from electronic trading opportunity (ETO). In July 2003, sponsored by the financial groups in America, China, England, France and Italy, etc, IEBMU moved its headquarter to American for registration, and thus being an internationalized professional unit registered with NGO, with independent legal position.

    In Research of Global E-business Development issued by the Trade & Development Committee, United Nations, Kofi. A. Annan once remarked: " In the past few years, E- business has changed the present economic situation. For developing countries, digital revolution has offered unprecedented opportunities for their economic increasing, which has been confirmed by the entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, and Dakar. On the other hand, countries of technical innovation hysteresis risk being abandoned by those with new-technology and competitive advantages". IEBMU's purpose is to help developing countries to fasten their development in E-business, and enhance their economic status by using IEBMU's advantages in information communication technology (ICT) & IT. Resorting to its system, IEBMU is to build an electronic information platform for economy and commerce, with a view to develop international trading efficiency, promote global trading network, enhance the electronic development of international trade.

                                            Chairman’s Commentary

Since its establishment, the International E-business Master Union abides by its tenet of serving government, society, various fields and enterprises, it has made great contribution to many countries regarding their innovation and development in E-business, buying and logistics. Here, I’d like to present my heartfelt gratitude to the governmental sections concerned and various enterprises of the membership countries, who have provided IEBMU with such a great support.

We think that carrying out the programs of international E-business, logistics and purchasing training in developing countries will enhance their trading efficiency, as well as promote the enterprise’s course of globalization in developing countries. Therefore, IEBMU authorizes electronic logistics master aptitude examination committee to implement the global E-business training program planned by IEBMU. We hope the program will benefit the enterprise of developing countries, and we also wish the enterprise of developing countries to realize globalization in electronic trade in the shortest possible time.

                                  Functions of International E-Business Master Union

1. Assist the governmental departments concerned of membership states to establish a unified, open, competitive, ordered comprehensive E-business system.
2. Cooperate with relevant departments of membership states, based on their individual characteristics in exploring a revolutionary measurement for E-business, buying and logistics, and all-roundly promote the establishment of modern enterprise system.
3.Advise the relevant governmental departments of E-business situation; bring up the policy, strategy, program and suggestion for the development of E-business, buying and logistics.
4.Study the basic condition and existent problem in E-business, buying and logistics, advise the governmental responsible departments of membership states as well as bring up suggestions for adjustment and reformation accordingly.
5.Through various channels, assist relevant departments and enterprises in personnel training in the aspects of E-business, buying, logistics comprehensive economy, technology and management.
6.Under entrustment, undertake the developing strategy & planning research of E-business, buying, logistics research, reasoning and appraisement on feasibility report, as well as consulting service regarding management improving.
7.Organization & researching of theory, developing strategy, planning, policy on modern E-business, buying and logistics, relevant questions on logistics standard, logistics enterprise management, as well as providing consulting suggestions to government and logistics enterprise.
8.Promote the development of business information and intelligent business system.
9.Editing and publishing of books and information data regarding E-business, buying and logistics, and providing a platform for membership states to exchange information and deliver their opinions on E-business, buying and logistics.
10.Expanding membership states’ connections with relevant international organizations and enterprises, and promoting the exchanging activities in technological economy and management regarding E-business, buying and logistics.
11.Advise the government of membership states of their opinions and requests on E-business, buying and logistics, and maintain the legal rights and interests of memberships.
12.Organize memberships in the training and inspecting activities regarding E-business, buying and logistics.
